	We have a Secure Commercial Location	Old Father Time, (OFT), is located in a brick and mortar, commercial building which actually was used as a Post Office at one time. All walls are masonry, barred windows, double steel reinforced entryway, concrete reinforced jambs. And we also don't ask you to send your watch to a PO Box. Here's a photo of our shop right on the front page. Check your online Yellow Pages to see if you're sending your watch to a legitimate business or to someone's home.
	We're insured with Professional Jeweler's Insurance provided by the Industry Leader	As policy holders of Jeweler's Mutual, you can rest assured that your watch is protected while in our possession. We're also members of the Jeweler's Vigilance Committee which is the industry's largest "watchdog" for standards and practices for security measures within the jewelry industry. Internet hobbyists may rely on their personal homeowners insurance (which may or may not cover other people's property while in their possession), because professional business insurance is not made available to them.
	We've been Formally Trained and Educated in the Trade	OFT's watchmakers have been Swiss trained by WOSTEP Trainers, Bulova Watchmaking School Instructors, The School of Horology and the AWCI.
	We have Electronic Security on Premises	OFT's building is equipped with electronic intrusion detection, motion sensors with wireless backup and fire detection and suppression equipment. Our central monitoring company is nation-wide.

	We're Licensing to Conduct Business	OFT is incorporated in the states of Pennsylvania, Delaware and Virginia. Our business license is displayed prominently at our front door.

	We encourage use of Credit Card Fraud Protection through AMEX	OFT accepts American Express*, VISA, and Master Card. An American Express Merchant account is more difficult to obtain because of their extensive fraud prevention practices. Merchants pay much higher service fees for use of American Express, but we think our customer's security is worth it.

	We Provide Repair Estimates in Writing	After an OFT Watchmaker thoroughly evaluates your repair item, we provide a written estimate by email or any method you select. It includes detailed information about the repairs required and/or factory specified services, as well as optional recommendations and cosmetics.
	We Ship with FedEX Shipping Security	Similar to a watch manufacturer, we use Federal Express Jeweler's Security Services for all jewelry shipments. This enables us to provide coverage for packages up to $25,000 in value for overnight or 2nd day service, and to get your watch back to you as quickly as possible. Yes, it's more expensive than Priority Mail, but try filing a claim with the US Post Office for a lost or damaged watch. It's nearly impossible.
	We Respect Your Privacy	We DO NOT share your personal information, purchase information, phone number, name or email address with anyone! We DO NOT make solicitation phone calls We DO NOT send solicitation emails We DO NOT send solicitation letters We do NOT solicit your feedback or display customers' full names on our website.
